This plug adapter is wired to be used with Tesla charging equipment with a 14-50 plug. It plugs into the standard 30 Amp RV outlet (TT-30), which is also found on some generators.

While a typical NEMA 14-50 outlet supplies 125/250V from two available hot wires, this adapter leaves one of them empty, allowing the NEMA 5-15/20 connection to receive the necessary 125V.
