This adapter is specially wired for EV/Tesla usage. It allows EV owners to charge their vehicle at a RV park or from a generator where the TT-30 configuration is often found. The male plug features a LED power indicator that illuminates when the power is connected.

This adapter plugs into a NEMA 14-50 outlet and has one NEMA 5-15/20 connector. The 50A straight blade connection can typically be found in RV parks, household EV charging outlets, and generators.

While a typical NEMA 14-50 outlet supplies 125/250V from two available hot wires, this adapter leaves one of them empty, allowing the NEMA 5-15/20 connection to receive the necessary 125V.
