This NEMA 14-50 straight blade inlets are designed for RV and food truck use. They are constructed with RV grade UV stabilized glass-filled polyester and have a threaded collar that allows a power cord to be screwed over the inlet for creating a weather tight seal. After disconnecting the power cord, the cap on the inlet folds down to protect it. The rear safety enclosure does not have strain relief.

•These inlets are designed for use with the 15588 Series of RV power cords.

Simply mount the box on the exterior of your home / business, and run the wiring to a transfer switch / box installation. When emergency power is needed, connect a generator cord to the inlet box, and flip the switch for the transfer unit. These boxes are equipped with a L14-30 male configuration rated for 30 amps, 125/250V.

Each inlet includes a watertight cap to protect it from the elements when not in use and a sealing collar that allows a power cord's threaded ring to screw around it to protect the connection. The backside contains a rear sealing grommet and safety enclosure without strain relief. These inlets contain easy to wire terminals and instructions for a quick installation.

They are constructed of marine grade UV stabilized glass-filled polyester for long lasting durability. Each model includes a protective cap to seal out the elements when not in use, while also including a smart cap feature that keeps the cap in an upright position when open. The rear of the inlet contains a 8-way right angle rear safety enclosure for strain relief.
