This adapter has (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protection built in to the plug and a triple outlet connector for allowing up to three devices to be plugged in and protected. It is commonly used at job sites for worker and equipment safety in damp/wet conditions when a GFCI outlet is inaccessible.

GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) provides personal protection from ground faults and open neutral conditions for the job site, plant floor or workshop. GFCI is UL listed and meets OSHA specifications. When using a GFCI adapter for an outlet that is not protected, the adapter should always be placed nearest the outlet (GFCI then the extension cord).

This GFCI pigtail adapter has a NEMA 5-15 Loc-King plug and connector that can be used with other products in the series. The male plug has a Secure Twist Ring that easily fastens around the connector to keep the cords firmly attached, while the connector includes a protective cap to cover it when not in use.
