This locking adapter converts the L5-20 outlet commonly found on generators and allows a device using a standard household 15A plug to receive power. This plug adapter is available in either a black or bright yellow color.

This plug adapter converts a NEMA L5-20 outlet, commonly found on generators, into the straight blade style, NEMA 5-20 configuration, that can be used with kitchen appliances, power equipment, and other high powered devices.

*This plug adapter does not have the T-Slot design for accepting a NEMA 5-15 standard household plug; it will only accept NEMA 5-20 plugs.

This adapter is useful in allowing a device with a L5-30 plug to connect to a L5-20 outlet. Please note there is no cover on the adapter, so it is not recommended that it be used in wet or damp conditions.
