These fully molded generator cords feature a 4-Prong locking configuration commonly found on most medium to large size portable generators and transfer switches. The brightly colored STW cable jacket remains flexible in various weather conditions with heat-resistance up to 221°F. These cords are built with heavy strand 10AWG wire for limited voltage drop, which is great for contractors, mobile businesses, and home emergency power systems.

These NEMA 14-50P Extension Cords have an easy grip handle on the plug to provide better leverage while unplugging. The 45° downward angled 14-50R connector puts less pressure on the inlet to maximize the life of both the cord and inlet. The connector also includes a threaded ring that securely screws around the inlet to create a watertight seal.

This cord is designed with two different LED lights, The Blue LED Power light indicates that power is present, while the Red LED light warns of reverse polarity or wrong wiring at the outlet.

Blue Light:

•Indicates that power is present

Red Light:

•Will indicate that there is either a neutral loss, incorrect wiring and /or faulty connections at the power pedestal outlet.

•If the RED LIGHT is on, disconnect the plug immediately.

•DO NOT touch any part of your vehicle.

•DO NOT turn on the circuit breaker. Contact the electrician on site at once

Power inlet boxes are ideal for running power to critical electrical systems, while avoiding harmful exhaust fumes that a generator produces. The box is mounted outside the home / business, and wires directly to a transfer switch/box. Now when you need emergency power, just connect your generator cord to the inlet box and flip the switch to your transfer unit.
